  • On Memorial Day 2006 I weighed over 530 pounds. My waist was 53 inches. My neck was 24 inches. My shirt size was 5XLT and I had to order everything online. My blood pressure was 140/98 and my resting heart rate was 95. My wife and I had to replace the side rails on my side of the bed three times in two years and despite frequent matress flipping, we had a get a new mattress every year.

  • When I went for my first Kung Fu class I had a fairly vague notion that
    as out of shape as I was, almost any exercise was going to have some
    effect on my fitness and that this would be something I would enjoy
    doing and find easy to commit to. This said, while I expected to be a
    better man even within the first four months, I am honestly surprised

    I have been trying to weigh once a week, but when you start Phase 2 on South Beach you are encouraged to weigh a little more often to make sure your not backtracking as you add more carbs back in to your diet.
