I guess the main thing we do to make sure our family eats right is not purchasing junk foods and sodas. It has paid off because when most kids are begging for candy bars and sweet drinks my daughter is begging for beef jerky. How can you say no to that?

Having my husband's support while facing this diet challenge has made such a difference in how I approach it. I know that he loves me unconditionally and even found me attractive when I was at some of my heavier weights. Having him by my side gives me incredible confidence in my ability to stick with this plan.
Looks like groceries are going to be expensive for a while. Yahoo did a story about the rising price of groceries, and predicted that the trend would continue for two more years:
