  • Will you be adding any healthy foods to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays Meals?

  • I have been running out of ideas for quick and healthy breakfast meals. Instead, my son and I have been eating Mickey D's for the last five days. Not wanting to fall in this continuous trap, I am looking for some healthy, but quick ideas for breakfast.

  • Mom and Dad brought me lots of fresh veggies when they came to visit, including cucumbers. I don't like cucumber, but hubby does. I poked around online today trying to find some recipes but didn't see anything that sounded appealing.

If you have a cucumber recipe please share! Hot or cold, doesn't matter.

  • I start work on next week, and I plan on cooking meals on Sundays for the week for me and my children. I want to make meals that can be frozen and taken out without taking a lot of time to prepare. I have a routine, which I want to stick to. What kinds of crockpot meals do you cook?

  • This is a recipe I'm using to help me up my protein intake and cut fat that I found on http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/, a blog I found rather inspirational.

    Ingredients:

    1 cup apple, chopped
    1 cup banana, chopped
    1/2 cup fat free milk
3 hard boiled eggs, white only

Toss all ingredients in blender and mix it all up good.

  • I'm convinced that taste is one of the main things that drive us to eat. We crave a certain taste, and that drives us to consume things, a lot of times more than we mean to.

  • A dear friend shared a bounty of fresh squash, and I'm looking for recipes -- anything but frying? If you have a good one, please share with me!

    Thanks,

  • After my last trip to McD's, I decided I can make this parfait on my own, and it's so much better. So here's my version of their $1 parfait:

Yoplait Light, Thick and Creamy vanilla yogurt (it's thicker, and fewer calories)
    Blueberries
    Strawberries
    Banana
    Granola (on the organic aisle)

  • I am trying to eat more fresh vegetables, and that includes asparagus. I've had enough stalks grilled on the George Foreman, so I'm looking for new ways to fix it. Any suggestions? (my husband isn't an asparagus fan, so keep the recipes simple, for this non-cook's sake!)
