My name is Sparky Sisson and I used to be obese. Such an ugly word. The BMI index says for my height over 207 lbs is obese. I decided about 2 years ago that I was determined to just be classified as overweight. Somebody, somewhere, and I am sure they had a good reason, set my ideal weight at 175 lbs. Are they crazy, at 175 I would look like skin and bones. I think a smooth 190 would be about right. Overweight and in good shape, that's my goal. Just a few months ago I made it under 207 and it sure feels good to be just overweight. I was excited to read about GetFitMississippi.com and I am signed up and ready to lose somemore. I don't know why the powers at be have given Mississippi the title of the most obese state. No one has weighed me or any of my friends to prove it. Frankly I don't like the title, so lets get moving and starting eating right. You have the power.
