Q: You don't have to name names, but tell us about a celeb who had the worst diet ever, and how you changed it.

A: I trained a famous rock star a few years ago who was addicted to a daily diet of blended iced coffee drinks and grab-n-go low or fat-free pastries. Like many people, she had no idea these drinks contain 600 or more calories a pop and that the fat-free muffins are the nutritional equivalent of cake. The pounds literally poured off her body once she switched to regular coffee and water and more nutrient-dense breakfast foods.

Q: What are the trendy fitness foods and beverages these days?

A: I'm big on fruits and vegetables with high water content to help you feel full and satisfied for the least amount of calories. Half of one grapefruit contains just 60 calories. Other good picks include oranges, carrots and zucchini.

Q: Your fitness trailer is on the set of movie shoots. How about a food-related story?

A: I had no idea what to expect during my first movie shoot. I was not prepared to be faced with croissants, cookies, malted milk balls and gummy bears everywhere. By the time we wrapped, I- the fitness trainer - had put on six pounds!

Q: What are your secret treats when no one is looking?

A: Chips with guacamole and dark chocolate.
