Special Event Dressing

The time is quickly approaching those special events, "end of the year" outings, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties, and New Year's Eve parties. What do you wear to these events? Here are a few tips to help.
1. Determine what will feel right for the special event. This will help you to eliminate those skimpy and too shiny looks.
2. Do not buy an outfit that will only be worn once. It makes more sense to create a look that can work for other occasions.
3. Don't wear too tailored looking suits or dresses.
Here are some ideas for special occasions.
1. A dark sheath dress - worn to a graduation, religious service, funeral, daytime wedding, and office party.
2. Icy pastel suit - worn to a graduation, daytime wedding, and religious service.
3. Simple dress with one interesting detail and a shawl - worn to formal cocktails, evening wedding, and New Year's Eve
