Two weeks!

It's been two weeks since I last blogged! Oh my! More than my good eating habits have been slipping apparently!

I'm back in the mindset of "Whatever it takes - stick with it!" I've been pretty stressed the past few weeks and let it get the best of me. I'm back up about 4 lbs, but I've gone back to the beginning stages of South Beach, Phase 2. No bread, but allowing fruit. I don't need to go into carb shock right now. The withdrawals would probably make me feel bad enough to give up altogether and the fruit will help me keep my blood sugar up so I can keep my sanity.

I've done good the past two days. I am especially proud of myself today because day two is always harder than day one and I had a business lunch today with someone at a restaurant that has a buffet lunch! This particular restaurant has fried chicken that I absolutely LOVE but I resisted. Got the baked chicken, some roast, butterbeans, broccoli and a salad. YUM!! I didn't even crave dessert! I'm feeling in control again and that is a WONDERFUL feeling!

What I REALLY want to get a handle on, is exercising. I have been in the habit of exercising before, I don't know why I'm struggling with it so much now. I am going to do my best to get on the treadmill some this week.

I wish we lived closer together. We could be workout buddies. Maybe we could help each other stay on track!
