Chicago Is Almost Here

The weather is cooling off. The long group runs are over. On Friday, I leave for Chicago. On Sunday, me, my fellow Marathon Makeover members and 45,000 of our new best friends compete in the Chicago Marathon. It's been downright cold when we ran the last two Saturdays (I could see my breath). The last forecast I saw for Sunday in Chicago predicted temps in the 50s and a chance of rain.

I've come a long way in nine months with MM. Some friends and family ask me if I'm putting in extra miles and trips to the gym this week. Nope. I'm as ready as I'm going to get for Chicago. Wish me luck.
