Miles starting to add up

With race day still three months away, there's still a lot of training left on this marathon schedule. But the miles are already starting to add up. I'm just glad the intense heat seems to be behind us.
My long run this week was just 10 miles, but it's the first double-digit run since I was training for the half marathon this summer. I had a strong run and didn't feel tired at all, so I think the plan is working well. One thing I'm doing differently this time is that I'm increasing my food intake. That's really given me more energy, and I think I'm running much better.

The weather is so beautiful this year ... perfect for running, perfect for cycling and perfect for being outside in general! Good luck with your continued training ... and eat plenty of protein. :)
