Leftovers

Will your families eat leftovers? Do you cook meals ahead of time, like on weekends, to serve for dinner throughout the week?

I can't speak for y'all, but when I get home in the evenings, I'm tired from working all day and the last thing I want to do is fix a full meal (with all the accompanying cleanup). I love to cook a big pot of spaghetti or a casserole, then serve the leftovers during the week.
(I'm not the world's best cook, but sometimes I can get them to eat it!)

I have to confess. I struggle to eat leftovers.

I think it's because I typically like to wait a few days before having the same meal again (unless it falls into the special category of foods I love to have every day).

What about preparing some of your meals in advance for the week? Then all you have to do is reheat, and your family might complain less because, well, they're not technically leftovers.

This also makes your cleanup much easier.
