Phase 2

So today I officially start Phase 2 of South Beach. This week I am supposed to build up to adding two servings of fruit to my daily diet. By the end of next week, I am supposed to have worked up to 2 fruit serving and 2 starch servings in addition to what I can already have. Fruit, whole grains and certain veggies are back on the list of things I can eat.

I'm taking it slow this week. One serving of fruit a day until Thursday, then 2 after that. I will monitor my weight loss and make sure it doesn't affect it. Then NEXT Monday, I add the whole grains. I am SO excited. A pita bread sandwich or a bagel is sounding like heaven right about now. I really wanted some good old junk food yesterday, but I'm holding my own. My clothes are giving me inspiration - they're already getting too big! =)

Good for you for sticking to it ... sounds like it's going well for you. And kudos on the loose clothing!

White grapes, because that's what I already had in the fridge for my daughter. After your post this morning though, I'm thinking a banana sure would be tasty right about now!
