Diet Slip Up

Have you ever grabbed a doughnut or your favorite latte before you remembered you were on a diet? How did you feel? Have you ever punished yourself for a slip up?

I say don't be so hard on yourself. A mistake is always a learning experience. If you don't make a mistake, how will you improve? Sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves. You are not a horrible person if you make a mistake with your diet, your exercise plan, or wearing those too little shorts to the gym (lol). We learn not to repeat those mistakes and move on.

What has your experience been like with a diet slip up?

I tend to slip up at night. If I'm just sitting around the house watching TV, I'll snack. Then I kick myself for it the next day.
