Baseball season
OK, I have a confession to make. I try to work out several times a week, weights and cardio. I always feel better when I do, and it helps me maintain my weight. But ... baseball season got me this year. We wound up going to games whenever the Braves were in town, and since I only work out in the evenings, I missed a lot of gym time. Now, I'm trying to work out more when they're on road trips (which is pretty often), but I've got to get back on the wagon. And, of course, what made it worse is the ballpark food ... when you're at games, it's hard not to eat that nasty ballpark food.
The season's almost over, though, and the school year's about to start. I've got to get back in my gym routine.
Wish me luck!

My thing is soccer season
I don't get to go to the Y or park like normal due to taking the boys to and from practices and games I try to work out a walk routine there but it is hard to figure mileage... We had band camp and the last two days just walked by time--- I walked for 45 minutes each day..... School will have a good effect on my calorie controll ( I refuse to eat the food at school so I take a lunch) but walking will eventually take a back seat to my younger son's academic needs (primarily me making him study read do work etc) .............. There are always to get in the way of walking but there are no real excuses are there!?
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength
